The Learnovation Open Forum: Removing the barriers to creativity and innovation?

Learnovation Open Forum, 27th May, Brussels: an agenda for change in Education and Lifelong learning beyond 2010 proposed in Brussels.

The Learnovation Open Forum entitled “Removing the barriers to creativity and innovation? Listening to stakeholders’ voice”, was held on 27 May 2009 in Brussels, gathering the main European networks in the field of innovation and ICT for Education and Training. This event was organised by the Learnovation Roundtable with the support of the European Commission as a contribution to the European Year of Creativity and Innovation, and resulted in the launch of the “10 imperatives for change” to make European education and lifelong learning a lever for innovation.

More and more observers are claiming that, despite the attention given by EU policy makers to creativity and innovation, as testified by the fact that he year 2009 has been dedicated to these issues, education and training systems are not facilitating enough the emergence of creative skills and attitudes but rather are often hindering their potential.

The Conference was focused on:

1. what concrete elements can be brought in the agenda corresponding to the expectations and concerns of stakeholders in relation to barriers of innovation and use of ICT for learning;
2. how stakeholders voice can be heard in the definition, implementation and evaluation of creativity and innovation policies and initiatives.

The Conference gathered around 100 participants, including representatives of the European Commission, European Parliament, Member States, research networks dealing with education, content industry, university networks, and civil society actors and networks.

I Encuentro de Blogs Educativos.

El 15 y 16 de mayo tendrá lugar, en Almería, el Primer Encuentro Andaluz de Blogs Educativos, organizado por el Centro del Profesorado de Almería y colaboran los Centros del Profesorado Cuevas-Olula y El Ejido y PRoFeBLoG.es.

Un encuentro organizado por la CONSEJERÍA DE EDUCACIÓN
Dirección General de Profesorado y Gestión de Recursos Humanos Delegación Provincial de Almería Centro del Profesorado de Almería.

Me han invitado a participar y, por supuesto, he aceptado….. Mi puerta siempre está abierta a la colaboración en este tipo de iniciativas promovidas por “comunidades de profesores”. Teniendo en cuenta la importancia que tienen en la actualidad en el panoroma educativo español este tipo de encuentros; desde donde se trabaja  la aplicación de las TICs en cualquiera de los contextos educativos con naturalidad e interes. Considerando que, en algunos casos, sigue siendo una “asignatura pendiente” todas estas actividades permiten divulgar buenas prácticas y consolidar el uso efectivo de las nuevas herramientas 2.0 entre el profesorado, y, en definitiva, en avanzar a nivel global hacia su total inclusión “enriqueciendo consirablemente cualquier proceso enseñanza-aprendizaje”.

ANEI y la Comunidad de Madrid publican “Web 2.0. Manual de aplicación en entornos corporativos”

La Asociación Nacional de Empresas de Internet, ANEI, y la Comunidad de Madrid, publican el primer manual en habla hispana sobre las aplicaciones de las herramientas Web 2.0 en el entorno corporativo.

Madrid. 11 de mayo de 2008. El próximo día 13 de mayo, como parte del evento “II Encuentro de Internet, Comunidad de Madrid” a celebrar con el apoyo del Ayuntamiento de Alcobendas, tendrá lugar la presentación de la publicación “Web 2.0. Manual de aplicación en entornos corporativos”.

Esta publicación continúa la línea editorial de la Asociación Nacional de Empresas de Internet, ANEI, que desde hace ya más de cuatro años, y con la ayuda de sus empresas asociadas, crea una base documental de apoyo para las pequeñas y medianas empresas intentando acercar las novedades del mundo TIC a los empresarios. La intención, eminentemente didáctica, es crear manuales que, de forma muy sencilla, hagan entender los beneficios que para la empresa reporta el correcto uso de las nuevas tecnologías.
